How would you interpret this letter from a man? (please read and indicate how old you are)?

31. He had fun, he's interested in you, but he has no plans of doing anything to make you guys into a couple. BUT if things with him and his semi-wife completely fall apart AND he ends up back in your neck of the woods he'll at least want to hook up and maybe even work towards making it a relationship. Also, guys like it when girls don't move on, they (we) like it when a girl is perpetually an option. Is that fair to you-NO...but we still like it. My overall feeling is that whatever you guys had is done and the best thing for you to do for your own happiness and well-being is to let it go and move on and PROBABLY not even communicate with the guy anymore...this has sticky situation written all over it.
