Does it pose problem if the name on my marriage certificate is different from the one in my passport?

does it pose problem when applying for visa if the name on my marriage certificate is different from the one in my passport? Example; on my marriage certificate Dadee Oyeola, on my passport is Dadee Ola Adelola, if it will pose a problem what should i do before going to the embassy
