Why are teens and young adults becoming more unscrupulous?

Glamorization of this type of behavior in the media unfortunately dictates how society molds. Just look at any of the reality shows or at what passes for news or fame these days. Also, all these social networking sites are feeding into instant graftication and narcissism. For example, it's creating a bunch of "me!"s that believe the world owes THEM a break in world and needs to see THEIR talent. My hope for society to change toward a better path is better parenting, etiquette classes, demonization in the media of negative acts and poor manners, and clear rewards of appropriate behavior.
