Why are AA meetings so darn depressing judgemental and guilt trip ridden?

The AA suck, and I agree with your position sir. It's self control that is a matter of concern, not alcohol. Majority of people enjoy alcohol and drink it in moderation, even Jesus drank it. Continue with the course until you can leave.
