Cafe Press users...Help? :]?

Has anyone customized their own shirt on CafePress? If you have, does the image you upload to put on the shirt look darker then you click "preview"? I have tested the image on different color shirts and got the same darkening effect... So I'm just curious to see if anyone has this same problem and might have a solution ^.^
